We visited just before closing time (I only hope the quality remains, as I believe the signature dishes, which were once the main highlight, are becoming a thing of the past). However, we discovered that their lemon tart was perfectly tart! (laughs) There's still a lot to appreciate here. The surroundings are beautiful, and you can buy their ice cream and enjoy it in the gardens, which is quite a treat. View all feedback.
Has been here several times and it is always a fun day trip from melbourne. <br/ <br/ it is always overcrowded and the staff should be applauded on their ability to handle as many tables and customers. I find the service a little abrupt and pushy to time, but overall it is friendly enough.<br/ <br/ eating is a little on the expensive side (especially ground drinks such as coke zero or water) for what they get, but the desserts are excellent worth. the free chocolate chips if they always have a tasty bite with the children.
I had the pleasure of attending the first weekend of high teas yesterday, and it was truly fabulous! The owner went above and beyond to ensure our experience was unforgettable for all the right reasons. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the food was delightful, and it was very special to hear from the chefs. My mother adores high teas, and I was thrilled that her birthday celebration turned out so wonderful that even the French chef sang happy birthday to her! I highly recommend spending a day with family at the chocolaterie, as there is plenty to keep everyone entertained!

I had the pleasure of attending their first high tea, and I must say, it was done exceptionally well. The staff was incredibly dedicated, and our hostess, who is also the owner, clearly has a deep passion for her business. A French pastry chef came by to explain his creations, along with a Belgian chocolatier who works there. The table was beautifully arranged with fresh flowers, charming cherries, and place cards featuring our names. The food was delightful, and there was an abundance of drinks to choose from, including various teas, coffee, and, of course, hot chocolate! The prices were very reasonable, and if they maintain this affordability while delivering the same high level of service, I can see this becoming very successful. I look forward to enjoying this experience again. Thank you, Yarra—you're the best! Michele.
