There are not many vegetarian options available at this restaurant, but the tea leaf salad is excellent.
The tea leaf salad at Shan Kitchen is absolutely amazing! They offer a variety of local dishes, many of which are vegetarian options. The Shan noodles, typically not suitable for vegetarians, are a must-try. While the prices are a bit high, the portion sizes are very generous (the noodle soup and salad are too much for one person).
The waiters were friendly, the restaurant was clean and cozy. They offered to add egg to the salad, which was a nice touch. The food was authentic and delicious. I would not recommend going to 999 Shan Noodles for Shan dishes. It is worth coming here as the prices are similar, but 999 Shan Noodles is not worth the money. They served us instant soup and what they claimed were Shan noodles, but I'm pretty sure they were just regular rice noodles.
The food at this restaurant is very nice and delicious. I really enjoyed the tea leaf salad, it was crispy and had a great taste.
