Did not book a table, and was advised the restaurant was short staffed that lunchtime, so there would be some time to be served. We were in no great rush, so we stayed for lunch. Well, it was well worth the wait! Their own sourdough bread as good as you would get anywhere. Lovely crab tarts , hand cut chips done in wagyu beef fat. All top class! Lovely gallery and surrounds. Very pleasant staff. The current concept behind the restaurant however is based around “small tasting plates”. The dishes were well presented, tasty but very small. Including the very very very small prawns in a sauce on the day we went. The king fish ceviche was lovely and the duck was nice but served cold. Of all our great meals enjoyed recently in Yallingup, the one at Studio Bistro was our favourite.
We came to look at the beautiful gallery and were warmly welcomed.
Tasty! Delicious! Amazingly presented! Service is friendly and professional.
The food was outstanding. I had the fish of the day (red snapper) on eggplant with fennel washed down with MR rieseling, with opera gateau for dessert. The service and setting was also very good. A great experience.
This is a brilliant gallery which is always hung beautifully and rotated regularly. The gallery has a lovely atmosphere and is professionally curated by a friendly and competent team. The bistro serves the most delicious food, wonderfully presented. The chef is a genius! You can eat indoors or outdoors surrounded by a lovely garden filled with native birds. The Studio Gallery Bistro is a real treat and not to be missed! You will not be disappointed!!!
