Sunday lunch in the Margaret River Region of West Australia is taken very seriously as so many establishments compete for your custom. Swings & Roundabouts should understand this? Today we see this restaurant being run by very very young people. The wood-fired pizzas were terrible!! We ordered three different types yet all were awful!! We dined out 5 times in the past week in the Margaret River region and out of all the places we visited, the total meal experience and value for money was equal best to one other of the 5 places. One was pretty bad food and value and the other two were pretty good but something let them down a little.
This was the best meal we had in Margaret river. It was a late lunch and the food was amazing. Beautiful wood fired pizzas, olives and bread, chips. Only let down was too much oil on the salad. Service was great, very friendly & prompt. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend!
Winter time in the South West, 3 in the afternoon, will we find somewhere for a late lunch? Have driven past SandR several times in the last few years. Is the kitchen open?Do you have gluten free for coeliacs? Shared an excellent pizza and part of a bottle of Sauvignon Bland, $51. Beautiful surroundings, quality service and a friendly New Mexican Lass!
