Limited menu however eating was really delicious and looked great. the workers in the restaurant were all friendly and they could buy various types of honey made on the barnyard.
We had a lunch in the veranda with a magnificent view of rebirth, trees and hooks. eating was very well presented and tasty a bit small portion in our opinion, although above all the pork bell. we ordered a half-lon bottle that was well balanced!. homemade brot is a must! service was excellent!
One of our favorite places in the opposite was already several times! the meat was very beautiful, each dish was beautifully presented and was simple and yet very unique. the personal was very accentuated and warm.
After we were in the barn hives accommodation before place a few months ago, we planned to get to the barnyard for eating. we came to lunch on Saturday and were very impressed. a bright free space. large windows offer a great view. and. that was delicious. I did not order the penne pasta really sure what was still in the plate. I don't have to worry. it was delicious. soft cheese. tomato. and a healthy addition of salami. I loved everything. Madam President c had the barramundi and it was to die. so delicious. she added her lunch with a delicious wine and I had a mouth water to home brewed ale. highly recommended.
Stopped in for a lunch at fairly short notice and managed to get a table. Bookings hard to get on weekends in the region in these Covid times it seems. Had been previously to buy honey but not too eat. Lunch was delicious. The octopus...entre was delicious and the goldband snapper also good. Had a glass of sparkling white which was quite drinkable. Servings on the smaller side but good quality. Would return.
The Barnyard is a charming rustic restaurant located in a picturesque setting among bush and grapevines. With friendly staff and a variety of delicious food options, including their own wines, this place is a must-visit for quality dining. While some reviewers noted small portions, the food was consistently praised for its freshness and unique presentation. From delicious breakfast options to mouth-watering lunch dishes, The Barnyard offers a delightful dining experience that is worth a visit. With a lovely ambiance and plenty of space for kids to play, this restaurant is a top choice for a quality meal in a beautiful countryside setting.

Stopped in here for a speculative lunch without knowing too much about the food, but couldn't have been more delighted with the food, service, and atmosphere. Each dish was totally unique and utterly enjoyable. One of the nicest lunches out we've had in a long time. Fresh, tasty, wholesome food. Servings not massive, but that was just right for us! Thanks for welcoming us...
We only came here for the wine tasting. The chefs in the restaurant looks like they are cooking up a storm. We enjoyed some red wine with a nice female waitress (from Lithuania), she was very polite, friendly and communicated well Definitely coming back here for a wine tasting $5/person They also sell honey but unfortunately no tastings
One of our favourite spots that always deliver on quality of food, wine and service. Seasonal produce menus, known for their beautiful homemade pasta (with on site hen friends providing fresh eggs). Understandably more limited menu in these trying covid times, but oh wow the food was delicious. Great dining experience. Very accomodating helping us to decide which lovely wines and beers to accompany our meals. Cheese and dessert option to finish with homemade cakes and slices available for more variety.
I visited for an early lunch on January 2, 2023, marking my first return in three years, and it was fantastic! Both the service and the food were top-notch. We arrived without a reservation for breakfast, and the food did not disappoint—the coffee was excellent as well. While the service was decent, it fell short of a five-star experience. We found ourselves seated in a high-traffic area due to the fact that all the preferred tables were reserved, but none of those tables were occupied during our visit. Staff frequently brushed past us, which was a bit distracting. I would definitely return, but next time I’ll make a reservation for a better table.
Having stayed in the Barn Hives accommodation on site, some months ago, we have been planning to come to the Barnyard for food. We came for lunch on a Saturday and we were very impressed. A bright open space. Large windows affording great views. And the food was delicious. I ordered the penne pasta not really sure what else was in the dish. I needn't have worried. It was delicious. Soft cheese. Tomatoes. And a healthy addition of salami. I loved it all. Mrs C had the barramundi and it was to die for. So tasty. She complemented her lunch with a tasty wine and I had a mouth watering home brewed ale. Highly recommended.

Went with two other friends for a lazy Sunday lunch. Food and services was superb. Small dishes to share worked well. The quality and balance of each dish was really well executed. The really amazing thing was that we were there well after everyone else had gone and there was zero pressure from the staff to leave. That in of itself is worth the visit. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Small menu but the food was great. The smoked kangaroo was delicious but the beef tataki was our favourite dish here. Restaurant has a very clean interior, and the wine is definitely worth trying.
