Reviews - Lagoon Yallingup
Reviews summary
Nestled in a picturesque location, this restaurant offers an eclectic menu that has sparked a variety of dining experiences. While some guests rave about exceptional dishes like the creamy crayfish risotto and perfectly cooked local fish, others lament tough fish and chips along with service missteps. Patrons appreciate the friendly staff and accommodating atmosphere, particularly for families, but there are concerns about inconsistent service and order accuracy. With prices ranging from $20 to $100, the ambiance may attract diners, but the food and service quality seem to be hit-or-miss.

What Anonym dislikes about Lagoon Yallingup:
I had the worst fish and chips I've ever experienced here! The fish was so tough that I couldn't even cut it. The batter wouldn't stick, and the chips were dry. For $27.50, I expected it to be delicious. Service was okay, but overall, it was a disappointing lunch. Price range per person: $20–40. View all feedback.

Amazing dining experience! I started with the sardines as an appetizer and followed it up with the local fish. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was incredibly friendly. It was the perfect lunch! Service: Diner | Type: Lunch
We come here regularly and are never dissatisfied. They do a wonderful job of delivering beautiful food time after time even under the pressure of staff shortages. Kid-friendliness: Happy to accomodate small children Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $80–100
Horrible service, my friend was turned away from the restaurant by the chef saying “do you know what type of food we serve here mate”, checkout lady got our order wrong twice then proceeded to argue with us as if we didn’t know what we ordered. once we finally clarified what we wanted and paid the difference they proceed to bring out the wrong thing, by this time they had closed their windows so we couldn’t even change. don’t recommend
Beautiful location, with an aesthetic interior design. At first they seemed to have lost our booking, but regardless, they brought us to a table. The food was amazing, especially the crayfish risotto, which is creamy and full of umami, and native lemongrass provided a nice balance to the overall richness. The ocean trout roll had crispy pastry and nicely done juicy fish but the portion is a bit small. Scallop was amazing with herby green and quince. Burrata with nashi pear was another winner, you'd want to order some bread to go with it.
