What a disappointment, served in... read more Went and tried Dawns Cafe yesterday Sunday 15th August for 2 Hot Chocolates after a well deserved long walk along the seafront. What a disappointment, served in mugs with just a teaspoon, no saucer or serviette , weak and just from a packet tasted like it was watered down milk, not made from a machine could have made nicer at home, shall try elsewhere next time won’t be going back

The service was slow but friend... read more Old fashioned tearoom/coffee shop. Nice Latte and tea cakes for butter lovers just has they should be with butter you can taste. The service was slow but friendly you cannot get a quick coffee here. Very popular with local residents and there were reserved tables.

The coffee, very reasonably priced, was really tasty (much better than mos... read more Dawn's is quite small, but well worth checking out. We called for coffee and a snack. The coffee, very reasonably priced, was really tasty (much better than most places we've been), and we both had cheesecake, which was obviously home-made and again really good. Although there was only one member of staff on in the shop (Dawn's preparing food etc in the kitchen), our table was cleaned thoroughly when we ordered, and it was just an overall pleasant experience after a long walk.

We were very impressed with this beautiful coffee run, the bright clean environment and the charming home menu. The staff was delicious and friendly and the time to participate in conversations with customers. The menu was all that a good coffee would provide and especially enjoy the fresh salmon salad, the broccoli and homemade cauliflower soup and thick cuts of bone sandwich ham. If you are a pie fan you are impressed by the cakes and freshly baked bread is beautiful every day by Jake, son of dawn. We are celebrating our ruby wedding next weekend and we cannot wait to show our cake for our guest, courtesy of Dawn a very talented cake machine. Thank you.
