Nice place. Nice friendly staff and nice food. Price per person: £1–10 Recommended dishes: Hot Pot
Really nice place. We went in 5 mins after opening time. There was one table occupied for food. The staff were very good and friendly and the place was spotless and there was an open fire very cosy. We had food which was delicious and the pub started getting busy quite quickly. I've been wanting to try here for a while and I'm glad I did and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be back.... dog friendly too. Review edited... Gave one star for service originally that was clearly a mistake on my part as it was excellent hopefully I have rectified this now. Apologies. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Noise level: Quiet, easy to talk Group size: Suitable for all group sizes Wait time: No wait
Arrived just after 1, suprisingly most tables either occupied or reserved until 2.30. Pub fitted us in but, asked us could we be finished by 2.30 which made us feel rushed. Meals are not cheap, and some parts of the meal were undercooked . The owner or manager although polite and apologetic then told us how he had done us a favour by fitting us in and would offer £1 each off each meal after we spent nearly £40 inclusive of drinks. Would have been nice to have been offered a complimentary coffee\tea. Very disappointed after reading some of the reviews on here. Customers should be made aware that its advisable to reserve tables. Price per person: £30–40 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
