IHOP - Wyomissing
IHOP
Description
A recent dining experience at this restaurant reveals a mix of impressions. While many guests praised the delicious food and outstanding service, highlighting favorites like the spinach mushroom omelet and buttermilk pancakes, some encountered significant issues. Complaints about cleanliness, uncomfortable temperatures, and service inconsistencies persisted, with one diner recalling an awkward bathroom encounter. Nevertheless, a resurgence in positive experiences suggests a potential turnaround in both atmosphere and customer care. Overall, while the culinary offerings earn high marks from many, the restaurant needs improvements in hygiene and ambiance to ensure a consistently delightful experience for all patrons.

The food is consistently delicious here. I highly recommend trying the big steak omelette or creating your own omelette.
The meat was undercooked and unpleasant, the bacon was terrible. The Big Steak Omelette was chewy and had a terrible flavor. The steak quality was the worst. The hashbrowns were not tasty and poorly cooked. We did not finish our order, and the pancakes were not very good either. The eggs in the split decision were overcooked, and the scrambled eggs were watery. Overall, a terrible experience at IHOP.
The cinnamon bun crepes had a dark drizzle on top but were missing the icing drizzle, making them less sweet and not as enjoyable. I was disappointed because the icing drizzle is my favorite. However, the short stack was excellent, as usual, but the food was cold.
