The staff was initially nice and friendly, but when asked to swap hash browns for chips at breakfast, they said it would confuse the kitchen staff. When questioned further, they relented but then tried to charge £3.75 for the chips. This was not mentioned when the order was placed and the staff became extremely rude when challenged. The food was also subpar, with my partner's club sandwich being mostly lettuce despite being described as having "lashings of bacon." Overall, it was a waste of money and time.

To make thing... read more I waited 15 minutes for a server to come to my table after sitting outside. The restaurant wasn't busy, so I'm not sure what the staff were doing. To make things worse, some staff members came out and sat near the door, smoking cigarettes and speaking poorly about other customers. I also saw a table of 4 customers leave after waiting a long time to be served. If I were the owner, I would be very concerned. The food was average, but not worth the wait.

We were all fine with the wait but when the food arrived, unfort... read more I took my family there for a warm lunch. Place was fairly busy so I knew there will be a delay. We were all fine with the wait but when the food arrived, unfortunately,they forgot to toast the toastie. They also forgot to put the panini in the oven/panini maker. While my daughters were waiting for my food to arrive so they can start, we were told that the filling I wanted for my toastie wasn 't available, I was ok with a different filling but 10 minutes later I was told the bread I asked was also unavailable. Never mind the mess up on order but the attitude of the girl serving was not pleasant. I wanted the manager to know about our experience so I asked to see the manager before I leave. The manager was extremely rude, had no patience to let the customer finish their conversation before answering. Continually interrupting and wasn 't willing to hear anything I had to say because she thought she can hide behind the excuse, we are too busy . Simple advise, don 't go to lunch high Wycombe if you see a few tables taken.
