Miserable,... read more Have eaten here many times, and let down by recent experience. Food was OK but not as good as in the past and the pudding selection is still woeful. Miserable, rude waitress and they have the cheek to add a 10% service fee to your bill, which is virtually impossible to read as it is so dark. I have been going there for over 10 years. Don't think I'll go again.

The service was polite, efficient and timely and our waitress checked on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal. We both had the chicken satay to start then a beef massaman and a Penang chicken with a side of pad mi noodles. Everything was delicious and fresh tasting and served piping hot . We also had a pot of jasmine tea for two. An excellent lunch in a delightful setting, we will definitely visit again.

The fish cake starter didn’t resemble fish cake or indeed fish. The prawn crackers were charged when we asked if were included in banquet meal and was told yes. All of this was not a major issue but being made to feel uncomfortable over leaving a tip ruined the ambience of our evening. The waiter outright questioned why we were not leaving a tip several times! We will not return or recommend which is sad as pre-covid we used to have great evenings and great food here :

The staff were extremely friendly, making us feel very welcome, and the food was exceptional. We believe this restaurant is best reserved for special occasions, as it can be expensive, but it is definitely worth it if you are celebrating something special, like we were. It was busy for a Monday, which was great to see.

We felt very uncomfortable as the waitress did not speak, smile, or make us feel welcome. When we asked for more time to decide on our order, she just stood by the wall staring at us, which was very strange. She even removed our mixed starter platter before we had finished and reached over me while I was eating to take away cutlery. Additionally, she tried to take away my sister's plate while she was still eating her main course. Throughout the entire dinner, the waitress did not speak or smile at all. When we received the bill, we asked a male waiter to remove the tip, but were made to feel uncomfortable when he questioned why. We give tips for good customer service, which we did not receive on this occasion. Although he reluctantly removed the tip, we will not be coming back or recommending this restaurant. It's a shame because it used to be fantastic, but it seems they need to provide customer service training to their front of house staff.
