Gwersyllt Fish - Wrexham
Gwersyllt Fish
Description
Gwersyllt Fishbar garners mixed reviews, showcasing a blend of culinary delight and disappointment. Many patrons praise its first-class fish and chips, often remarking on the quality and flavor, particularly the crispy batter and generous chip portions. However, recent experiences highlight inconsistencies, with some diners receiving overcooked, soggy offerings that detracted from the overall enjoyment. Customer service stands out, especially during order mix-ups, where staff promptly addressed issues, leaving a positive impression. Accessibility remains a concern for some, with high pavements posing challenges for those with mobility issues. Overall, Gwersyllt Fishbar remains a valued destination, despite its recent setbacks.

Excellent food and amazing customer service. We ordered through just eats, there had initially been a mix up with our order and some food hadn't been included in our order upon delivery. However, they phoned us immediately and sent over one of their staff members to our house with the rest of our food along with some free extras. The young man who delivered our food was extremely apologetic and well mannered. So to conclude- Mistakes do happen so no big deal there. But what fantastic customer service
Literally the best chippy I have been to. Large crispy fish and delicious hot chips. Curry sauce is great too.
Our fist visit to the Gwersyllt Fish Bar for a few years and we will not be rushing back.We paid £6,20 for a small fish and chips which we had to reheat when we got home.Think we will try another chip shop if in this area again.
I have not visited this restaurant in years, but I went last Friday for fish and chips and was not disappointed. The long line outside indicated that it was still a popular spot. It was definitely worth the wait. The fish was fantastic and the chips were delicious. I will definitely be returning when I visit family again.
