Whilst the staff are friendly and helpful the food we found to be wanting !!! We had the 3 courses and non of them were anything special. Just normal put on yhe plate pub grub. So afraid we will not be returning.

We had the Sunday lunch it was well cooked and made with quality ingredient's a little expensive for the portion size but what isn't these days ? .The setting is idilic and overlooks the river Dee ,we were looked after well and would definitely visit again .

Superbly prepared and presented dishes in great surroundings. We were given a very warm welcome and looked after royally. A great food and drinks menu that is high quality good value.

Scotch egg welsh rarebit starters were lovely, fish pie beef curry were delicious, not enough room for a dessert sadly. Attentive service in comfortable surroundings. Will definitely visit again. From our arrival to our departure she dealt professionally with our needs. The wraps were stunning, great fillings and a very good portion of fries. Dog biscuits were replenished whilst we sat by the fire, George was also very happy Five Star plus.
