This is more of a cafe by day but a cocktail bar in the evening. We called in on a Saturday evening and enjoyed two prosecco before dinner. There is a very modern decor with plain brick walls. Drinks are ordered from the bar which is very high. High heels may be required ! View all feedback.
What 70ish dislikes about The Brick Room:
I was here with a friend mid morning Friday just for a drink we both had a pot of the very good breakfast tea. The staff were friendly and the service was good. The lunchtime menu looked interesting and good value so will be returning to try the food View all feedback.
I visited Keystones in August and December and had a fantastic experience both times! The music has a 90's style, and in December, like everywhere in England, the atmosphere was festive.
If you're looking for a great cocktail in a 90's-themed ambiance, this is the ideal spot to visit.
The staff is welcoming and the restaurant is spacious, with plenty of seating options to relax and unwind.
I visited the restaurant with a friend for a drink. Initially, it seemed like a nice place, but the bartender appeared too arrogant to smile or interact with customers. When I inquired about the gin options, he simply nodded at me instead of pointing out the menu on the wall behind me. The drinks were not presented well, served with draft tonic. We quickly left and found another bar where the same drinks were £4 cheaper. Overall, it felt like a rip off.
My husband and I had lunch at this restaurant on a chilly day and found ourselves feeling cold. The heaters were only located over the bar area and not throughout the rest of the restaurant. We were not given a drinks menu. While my husband's food was enjoyable, my grilled halloumi salad was only mediocre as the cheese was served cold. When I brought this up to the waiter, it was brushed off without much concern.
