Today we arrived for Christmas Eve lunch and hadn't realised that it would normally have been closed , however instead of calling us to postpone the gentleman opened for us and was happy to look after us for our annual Christmas Eve get together. We initially felt bad that he had taken the trouble to open for us but he was so cool about it and told us we could have our pick of any of the tables , We chose a table and a few minutes later he surprised us with a glass of prosecco what a lovely gesture We had an absolutely gorgeous meal followed by a delicious dessert , we were looked after so well and had a great time ! By the time we left it was almost a full house ! thank you so much for today and Happy Christmas , it was first class !

I recently had a great experience at this restaurant. The upper floor had a fantastic view of the city walls road. The beer and tapas were delicious, and the service was impressive considering how busy it was. The young girl working at the bar upstairs was very friendly and polite.

A versatile dining or drinking experience: the garden offers a relaxed space to eat outside and both upstairs and downstairs areas hold a bar for accessible drinks service. Great for small groups and great potential for romantic dates too (look out for the two person dinner wine offers).

The portion sizes were precise (though a bit small). The beetroot risotto was delicious but came garnished with inedible flowers. The restaurant boasts a charming garden. One of the waitresses was caught off guard when we inquired about the soup of the day, which was just a minor hiccup during an otherwise enjoyable experience.

We went to Sunday afternoon, 3 courses for £17, we were so impressed! eating was amazing, decent portion size, beautiful atmosphere excellent service. we used to be because drinks have always enjoyed it. I can't wait to go back for another Sunday dinner soon!
