The staff seemed to take br... read more The restaurant was quiet during Sunday lunchtime but severely understaffed, with three groups of people leaving while we were there. The staff seemed to take breaks, leaving only one girl to serve both the bar and restaurant. One diner had to retrieve his meal from the kitchen himself. The decor was outdated, with ripped seats, dirty walls, and water stains on the ceiling. There was rubbish blowing outside and the garden was unkempt, leading us to initially believe the restaurant had closed down. The food was overpriced and unremarkable for what it was. The '74 baconeater dish was not worth the price tag of over £16 (see picture). We would not return to this restaurant.

The... read more We stopped by for a coffee and received excellent service from the cheerful and friendly Jake. The food was so delicious that we ended up staying for lunch. The fries were the best in Worcester, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the peas were fresh and moist. Highly recommend trying the gammon. We were warmly welcomed by Katie, the manager, and Alice, our waitress, was always bubbly, friendly, and efficient. Special thanks to chefs Mike and Graham for their amazing dishes. My husband loved the lasagne as well.
