The chicken was dec... read more I ordered two dishes from Ashley's restaurant: Green Lamb and Garlic Chilli Chicken. Unfortunately, the lamb was spoiled and not fit to eat. The chicken was decent, but my girlfriend got ill after eating it. I tried contacting Ashley's about the issue but only reached their voicemail. Despite leaving a message, I never received a call back. I have also requested a refund through Just Eat, but have not heard back from them either. I will not be ordering from Ashley's again. It is unacceptable for them to serve spoiled meat and ignore customer complaints.

The first time I tried this place, the food was amazing - flavorful and worth the price. So I decided to order again last night expecting the same quality. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. The vindaloo had more potatoes than chicken, the sauce was lacking, and the meal was dry with subpar flavor. The mixed kebab starter had tough lamb and dry chicken, also not up to par. The chips were crinkle cut, indicating they were frozen and overcooked in old oil, resulting in a greasy and unpleasant taste. I understand that restaurants can vary in quality, but this experience was far below acceptable and I won't be ordering from them again. It's either hit or miss with this place, and the use of old oil is concerning.

The staff was friendly and well-informed, and they took the time to assist me in choosing my meal. I especially enjoyed the tawa rumana. I highly recommend this place.
