Phoned this hotel praying that they would be open last night because most weren't because of the cyclone and no electricity. Thankfully they were but only had a limited menu, which was read to me while on the phone. Arrived for dinner and the steak that we ordered was absolutely delicious. What User doesn't like about The Woombye Pub:
As a local we visit Wombye pub most Tuesday nights. The staff are friendly and the food generally good. My daughter loves the chicken kievs but ufor the last 5 weeks they have been not available. We have had every excuse to why they are not available, "popular", or just sold out etc. It's very disappointing, so much so that we are now looking for somewhere else for our night out. I got the barramundi and Calamari star and my wife got the chicken parmigiana and both could not have been happier. the food came out quickly. they don't wait long. we recommend this place and will definitely come back
Friendly and personal large food only no good choice of beer
Brilliant. this is a great pub. they start the perfect garlic bread and our net was not only fast and economical. but far better than all photos could possibly convey. a relaxing family atmosphere.
For lunch with a dozen friends, wonderful. great food and service.
Thanks for a great St Patrick’s day shindig, we had a fabulous time but the best part of it all was the absolutely delicious Guinness Irish Stew, almost as good as my mother’s. My compliments to the chef ! ️How about you put it on for the rest of “St Patrick’s Month” and I’ll be back again in a flash!
