I have visited Marengo twice now and the food is outstanding! The homemade chips and salsa are the best we've had in a long time. The Sope Chili rellano was incredibly delicious, as were the enchiladas. They were experiencing some computer issues and were quite busy with many customers in the first week, making it difficult to get a simple glass of water. I would never go to this restaurant. The owner is a shovanistic, conceded man that thinks he is better than everyone. Even his employees are unhappy working there. He takes everything wonderful about the square, it's beauty and joy and and makes it trash. I would never support them, I hope they loose their business. A few items were missing in the menu, but the sope and taco I got were good. all in our group enjoyed eating
We were in town to check the locations of the groundhog day. we liked ourselves in the inner and had decided to go to us as the place looked empty.
I had originally published a 5-star review that I have been away. I still stop very occasionally to enjoy their sopas and the personal, but they were.
This restaurant serves the best chips and guacamole in the city. They also have excellent tacos, with my favorite being the fish taco. The service is great!
