The Rajput - Wolverhampton
The Rajput
Description
The restaurant offers good food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance. However, it falls short in terms of food quality and service experience for some customers. Issues with missing items on the menu, poor quality coffee, messy spill accidents, high prices, and non-acceptance of discount cards have left a negative impression on diners. On a positive note, the restaurant has received praises for its delicious food, prompt service, and pleasant dining atmosphere. Despite some disappointments, patrons who appreciate quality Indian cuisine may want to give this place another chance based on the positive feedback it has received.

Place is closed, not book. dad's birthday meal was up and was quickly found somewhere else, which turned out to be great.
The restaurant has closed 3 months ago and so pampered our sons birthday, a wasted journey
I had made a reservation for breakfast on my birthday and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, I found out that the restaurant was closed when I arrived, even though there was no notice of closure. Despite them saying they would check and get back to me, they never did. I had to quickly find another place to have breakfast since it was a Friday and last minute.
We have previously enjoyed a brunch here, particularly for the simple choice of good food. This time, we were the first customers on a Saturday morning and there were items missing from several choices. Coffee/ Americano was poor for the price... and tasted like an instant coffee. The waiter was good friendly and approachable.
We had the meat experience, I can’t quite remember what the name was exactly. For £40 each you get a whole host of things. 1. Bread Board 2. Starters 3. A platter of sides to go with the following meat dishes 4. Chicken dishes 5. Pork dishes 6. Lamb dishes 7. Beef dishes The food was incredible, everything me managed to try was out of this world. They bring each meat dish out one at a time as the night unfolds. The only negative (and I am not wholly sure it is a negative) is the obscene portion sizes as you can see from the pictures there is enough food for at least 4 people, not 2. We had to stop and ask the waitress not to bring out the beef dishes as it would have been a total waste. We’d definitely come again however opt for a single meal off the À la Carte Menu in future. If you have a big appetite and like man against food then give this feast a crack. The venue was brilliant access to the restaurant is via a steep staircase only though. Once upstairs the roof beams are a lovely feature. The staff and cocktail menu were brilliant, well worth a try!
