Menu

On this website, you will find the complete menu of The Rajput from Wolverhampton. Currently, there are 7 menus and drinks available.

The restaurant offers good food, friendly service, and a cozy ambiance. However, it falls short in terms of food quality and service experience for some customers. Issues with missing items on the menu, poor quality coffee, messy spill accidents, high prices, and non-acceptance of discount cards have left a negative impression on diners. On a positive note, the restaurant has received praises for its delicious food, prompt service, and pleasant dining atmosphere. Despite some disappointments, patrons who appreciate quality Indian cuisine may want to give this place another chance based on the positive feedback it has received.

Was Grayce Ernser at The Rajput a mag?
Me and my partner went on a Saturday evening. Was very busy and really shoulkd of booke. They managed to get us a table very promptly. Service was very friendly and not pushy. The food was of the best quality indian i have tasted in years. No oil floating on top of meals and each of the meals tasted different. Will definately be re visiting again. View all feedback.

What Rowena Richardson dislikes about The Rajput:
We have previously enjoyed a brunch here, particularly for the simple choice of good food. This time, we were the first customers on a Saturday morning and there were items missing from several choices. Coffee/ Americano was poor for the price... and tasted like an instant coffee. The waiter was good friendly and approachable. View all feedback.

My boyfriend and I went for a meal here on Friday night First impressions were okay nice building and small cosy restaurant. We had made a booking using tastecard (a discount card for certain restaurants) which was going to get us on our food. We ordered some poppadoms and a pickle tray from the waiter and he spilt the pickle tray all over my cardigan, handbag, the table cloth and the floor. As you can imagine, I was fairly disgruntled by this but let it slide as the waiter was polite and got me a damp napkin to help clean my clothes and bag. Our meals came and they were very average, with a LOT of salad! I ordered a monkfish main course for which consisted of a small, rubbery piece of monfish drowned in a sea of lettuce hardly worth the price! My boyfriend ordered the meat thali, which came with some sort of chicken, the texture and taste of which could only be compared to plastic.By the end of our meal I was less than impressed and we asked for the bill. When the waiter brought the bill over, it had come to for starters, mains and sides, plus a beer and a large glass of house red. I showed the waiter my tastecard and he gave me a puzzled look. I had booked the restaurant on a friday night because it specifically states on the tastecard website when you can use your tastecard at each applicable restaurant for deals or off. The only day which was invalid would be a Saturday, as stated on the website. The waiter presented me with a laminated sheet of paper which said "We do not accept tastecards on Fridays or Saturdays". I explained that the tastecard website does not state anywhere that the deal is not applicable on Fridays, and that when I booked the table earlier in the week, I had asked if we could use our tastecard and the man on the other end of the phone had said it wasn't a problem. However, the waiter insisted that he was the manager and nobody should take bookings except for him. He didn't believe me about the tastecard website saying I could book on a Friday, so I had to physically show him the web page on my phone. He would not back down, and this caused quite a stir in the restaurant as the other customers table of two and table of four) started to look over to find out what the commotion was about. I stressed to him that the tastecard booking confusion was nothing to do with me, and that it was between his restaurant and tastecard, yet he still would not back down. I am a student and I could not afford to pay for a meal which I had anticipated would cost me In the end I said to him there was no way I would pay the full amount and said the best I could do would be for him to deduct the most expensive item from the tastecard menu from our starters and mains. I managed to whittle it down to but not without a fight.Needless to say we won't be gracing the Rajput with our custom again, nor passing on a good comment about them.

The booking was done as shown on google maps also open. But when I went up in the night before my high time for a meal with my family and with the brooms, they were closed. Of course, a case might have been of their end, but it would have been appreciated to be informed before 30 minutes travel. our night has troubled us in an inconvenient manner.
