Tonight, I put... read more My wife is a coeliac so has to have gluten free. We live in Wednesfield on the other side of city, but make the journey because the food is okay. Tonight, I put in my order £25.30, and was made to wait almost half an hour for the order. You’d think, surely, if people can be bothered to walk in, that they would be served first, or perhaps, have a dedicated member of staff to look after them and not have all staff pandering to Go Eat or whoever. A 30 minute wait for fish and chips is very, very poor and I shall try to find somewhere closer to home.

It is my local chip shop and although I am not a frequent visitor I always go here if I fancy fish and chips. The food has always been fine. However, after tonight never again. Two people in shop and one outside all of whom had been served and were waiting orders to be prepared. Four or five members of staff, including I believe the owner. No one waiting to be served. I stood at the counter for about 7 minutes with no acknowledgement whatsoever. You know the experience. the waiter in the restaurant who knows you are there and will not catch your eye under any circumstances even though they are perfectly well aware of your presence. All it takes is a polite I will be with you in just a few minutes , which none of the five could be bothered to do. So I walked out. If you cannot be bothered to acknowledge me or take three seconds to be polite, I can 't be bothered to come to your shop again. And don 't worry, I will tell lots of people about my experience. When you take customers for granted, it is time to shut up shop.

The first time, the person on the phone said it was on its way, and the second time, a girl claimed it had been delivered. I am a regular customer on Just Eat, and I am extremely disappointed. Shame on you for not delivering the food.

Unfortunately, the food was cold when it arrived, which has never happened before. I usually order from this restaurant.
