When I entered, I encountered a woman who seemed totally overwhelmed and had to call in a Costa Coffee employee for assistance, referring to her as the "dirty m... read more When I entered, I encountered a woman who seemed totally overwhelmed and had to call in a Costa Coffee employee for assistance, referring to her as the "dirty manager" as if that somehow gave her authority over legal payment methods. A man who was acting like a "Karen" also tried to interrupt, claiming I couldn't film due to data protection laws. I informed him that I’m not an organization, so I don't have to comply with GDPR. The female staff remained stubborn and rather rude, arguing that since they don't accept euros, they shouldn't accept a £100 coin either, which made no sense. They eventually told me to leave and demanded that I delete my recording. I asked for a receipt, but they ignored me, and my reward points were removed from my account. Overall, these employees seemed completely clueless and were incapable of managing anything, let alone a petrol station. The only reason I'm giving them an extra star is for the young, polite, and professional male employee I encountered at the beginning. I experienced poor service from a young lady at the counter. I was told that the products had "cooled," but they were actually "cold." I would expect that heated items at Greggs should be served warm and at a safe eating temperature. I was disappointed with the service and will be avoiding this location in the future for food or refreshments.
