Aroma has garnered a spectrum of feedback, showcasing a blend of culinary triumphs and disappointments. While some patrons rave about the flavorful dishes, generous portions, and lively atmosphere, others criticize the blandness of certain meals and the rude service they encountered. Diners appreciate the BYO policy and find the pricing reasonable, elevating it above average curry houses. However, inconsistent food quality, slow service, and unwelcoming staff behavior have led some to vow never to return. Despite these challenges, loyal customers continue to champion Aroma for its excellent offerings, making it a divisive yet intriguing dining option.

Was TwoPigs at Aroma a mag?
One of the best Indian food places in a 30 mile radius.Everything I/we have ever tried is always tasty and that includes takeaways! The sheek kebab and chicken tikka just hit the spot to get your tastebuds going for the main course! We main course of chicken chilli masala which is really flavoursome and the Keema (mince lamb) peas madras style sits right along with the chicken. Accompanied by Keema nan, garlic cheese n... View all feedback.
What mozart21 dislikes about Aroma:
The reviews I read before coming were (as you can see) somewhat mixed. How bad can it be? Well, it was not terrible. I have had worse. Starter was fine, a potato based something or other. Looked like a chip shop fish cake. Accompanying sauce devoid of taste (how do they do that) and the garnish though plentiful was a little tired. Main course was a king prawn dish. Some were white (a glow in the dark shade of white)... View all feedback.
The staff were welcoming and attentive at this restaurant, and we quickly realized that we needed to bring our own alcohol after looking at the menu.
Rather a tasteless chicken biryani. Inside of restaurant very tired and uninspiring looking. Doesn’t say if the meat is halal or not. Surely it should say so. Some of us don’t want halal meat. A surprising number of people don’t care as long as meat is cheap.
Just had our first takeaway from Aroma. We live in a neighbouring town and all the local Indian restaurants and takeaways are extremely uninspiring. Tried Aroma after being recommended by a friend and it didn’t disappoint. I gave four stars as the chingri on puri was a bit bland but the chicken pathia and chicken tikka balti were excellent. It arrived earlier than advised and the staff who took the order and delivered were extremely helpful. Will definitely be paying a visit to eat in the restaurant soon.
It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I ordered the chicken tikka biryani along with a dhansak sauce. It was very tasty as Indian food is when cooked to perfection. The staff were attentive and hospitable. I recommend you visit this place if you already have not.
