The restaurant is nicely organized with great decor, and the buffet breakfast offers everything you need before heading out for a day of racing. The staff is very polite and tables are cleared promptly. View all feedback.
Part of the hilton hotel, their resturant is quite good we had bigger table as we were a party of 12. Nice choice on the menu both of food and drinks. Shrimps was a starter was good, 3 big pieces, not cleaned but easy to do with hands, tasty and not big portion but tasty. For the main sea bass fillets, with vegis and sauce on top. Nice, tasty fillets good fit to sauce, lots of greens and fries to the side. Decent size of main. Good service, was quite full resturant. Good white from new zealand along.
We arrived on Friday lunchtime and left Sunday afternoon as we were running a conference. The breakfast buffet (included in our deal) each morning was good, with lots of choice. The staff were friendly and attentive and Marianna was great at looking after us and our group. As part of our conference, we had lunch buffets included, which were mainly good and catered for a lot of dietary requirements. However, everything else was expensive and poor quality. If you look at the menu, the food sounds like it should be good and, for the prices shown, you expect good quality and/or quantity. I ordered a Dirty Burger on the first night, which was very average and the portion of chips amounted to about 12 limp chips, all for £15! On another night I was tempted to go for the buffet, although I was only really looking for a main course. The buffet, whilst having some nice looking food options, was limited and in no way justifying it 's £26 price tag. From experience of seeing others in our party ordering mains from the menu, I was left disillusioned with eating in the restaurant and was seconds away from ordering takeaway. My wife order a brisket and cheese toastie, which was cold on arrival and understandably was put off by having mouthfuls of congealed and cold melted cheese. Despite the friendly and apologetic staff, food always seemed to take an age to appear. Given the size of our party on the first night (19 people) we offered to pre-order our food, with our choices handed over mid-afternoon. We booked for 7pm, yet the first meals came out at 8:30pm! Given that Hilton Hotels are generally more expensive than your average hotel, I was expecting much more of Omnia 's food. I generally don 't mind paying more for food if I know the quality is good, however I was left very disappointed by the food and price. Even the drinks were sold for a very high premium, with a 330ml bottle of lager costing £6.40 and a small mojito £11! I would not book to eat at this restaurant again unless there are some major changes to improve quality and/or reduce costs.
We ate a la carte at the restaurant as part of our legoland overnight stay. Our child ate from the kids buffet which was just what he wanted. The food from the main menu was excellent and service was brilliant. A beautiful restaurant with friendly staff we had a fantastic evening meal and even sampled the cocktails. Can highly recommend the cherry bakewell! Would definitely come back.
We live very close to this hotel and visit at least twice a month, especially when the weather is nice. This place is truly a hidden gem with fantastic views. The staff, including Mohammed, Pedro, Vikki, and Jazzy, are always very helpful, as well as the other bar staff. The food is always cooked fresh and served piping hot, which is rare these days. I highly recommend the cheeseburger and my husband enjoys the Caesar salad. They have a good selection of beers on tap, as well as wines and gins. We truly enjoy coming here. Unfortunately, there has been a change in management in the spa area, so I have canceled my gym and pool membership that I had for several years. However, this will not stop us from continuing to visit the bar and restaurant, as we absolutely love it here. Thank you to the staff for their great service.
