I had an excellent experience here today for a late lunch. The food was tasty, uncomplicated, and very reasonably priced. The service was attentive without being overbearing. Perfect!
Overall, an okay experience. We were quickly seated and provided menus. The food was okay. We ordered the Dragon and Phoenix, chicken and broccoli, chicken fried rice. Dragon and Phoenix is shrimp w/ veggies and general tso's chicken (rice is not included). The shrimp was mixed in a light sauce and tasted very slimy. The general tso's chicken had more batter than chicken. The sauce was good but could have used more heat. The chicken and broccoli was not in your normal soy sauce instead it was in a similar light sauce like the shrimp platter. My favorite was the fried rice. It was your typical fried rice but not as greasy. Happy dining.
Have had takeout many times from here. This was our first dine in experience. It was awful! The service took forever seriously ordered two lunch specials and took over an hour to get our meals. When they arrived they were cold. However the server/manager/owner !?? never came back. Had our meals cold with no drinks since he never came back once he dropped the food off. Had to find him to get the Bill. We were the only table. They had 2 men at the bar so it wasn't like they were busy.
We have always done takeout from here, and I mean this in the best way possible: it's our absolute favorite trashy Chinese food place. It's just that perfect familiar comfort Chinese takeout like I used to have back home. My favorite is the combo plate with fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and a spring roll. We did dine in once, and we were the only people there and the service wasn't great... But the takeout is very good and quick so I would recommend it.
Was craving some Chinese food on the long trip back to New York and found this place nearby. If there were two things you wanted to order I highly recommend the salt and pepper wings and the pineapple chicken. Most importantly, the customer service was too notch, and place was clean. They also have a bar area which was already getting packed at 2pm. Definitely check this place out if you live in the area.
