The fish is cooked to order, crispy batter, flesh just flaking; chips also fresh, real potatoes. My neighbour and I share an order between us, being a couple of old ladies, but the men of the house settle down with determined expressions and contented noises

Everyone worki... read more I ordered from the Codfather for a local care Home and it ended up being quite a large order! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it residents and staff! Everyone working at the Codfather was very helpful and genuinely lovely people. I’d recommend them to everyone! You get a lovely big portion unfortunately too big for some of us and it is all well priced. We would definitely order from them again

It was absolutely gorgeous, the fish and batter was cooked to perfection and the chips were just as good. The shop looked lovely and clean and the staff were very polite and happy. We will definitely use this one again
