Best fish and chips ever, apart from Mariners Wharf in Hout Bay, and Cape Town is too far away for a regular refill. The fish is cooked to order, crispy batter, flesh just flaking; chips also fresh, real potatoes. My neighbour and I share an order between us, being a couple of old ladies, but the men of the house settle down with determined expressions and contented noises
Some of the best fish and chips we’ve had and the service is great, recommend the scampi which was excellent! Toby D
I ordered from the Codfather for a local care Home and it ended up being quite a large order! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it residents and staff! Everyone working at the Codfather was very helpful and genuinely lovely people. I’d recommend them to everyone! You get a lovely big portion unfortunately too big for some of us and it is all well priced. We would definitely order from them again
Brought 2 X standard cod and chips, there was enough for 4 adults with some leftover. All freshly cooked and so tasty.
This was the first time we had used this chippy, we normally use a different one in Witney. It was absolutely gorgeous, the fish and batter was cooked to perfection and the chips were just as good. The shop looked lovely and clean and the staff were very polite and happy. We will definitely use this one again
