My husband and I stopped at the Irish Loop Coffee House for lunch. It was busy inside, and since it was a lovely day, we chose to sit outside on the deck. I had the cod au gratin with salad, which was delicious. My husband...had the shrimp sandwich, which he liked but thought that it was a little light on the shrimp for the price. I love their site for the location as well as the food especially her home made deserts.
We were told to go to the Irish Loop Coffee House on our way back from sea kayaking in Cape Broyle and I'm glad we took that advice.
We stayed here for 5 days in the room with a viewIt was really nice and the view over the bay is awesome.
The lamb sandwich is excellent (don't forget to add a side) as is the all-day breakfast. All home-made. Phenomenal dessert - Toffee cheesecake!
I assume there is a link between Irish Loop and For but I can't find fork in Trip Advisor. By night this is a small restaurant with a very different but very nice menu and staffed by friendly and helpful folk. When we dined a couple - thinking it was still the coffee shop - came in and asked if they could just have some tea and the owners were happy to accommodate them. Good restaurants in the are are scare. This is a gem.
