Great music and fab bar staff, beer, wine, tea and crisps, and on special occasions, free butties. Great community pub.
Brilliant night and day at charity fundraising day of music , our 2nd year attending travelling from Bangor north wales All bands were fab and great bar staff really friendly crowd . Looking forward to our next visit xx
I hunted this pub out as I liked the look of it online and I have to say, it did not disappoint Super friendly bar staff with great chat, quality beers and great prices too. I couldn’t believe my luck that they served Bass Ale as it used to be a favourite of mine many years ago and finding it these days is like hens teeth! Went for a ‘couple’ and ended up staying until closing time as I was having such a laugh. Shame I had an exam the next day oops. It has a fantastic overall ambience and I would like to say a sincere thanks to all for making it such a wonderful evening. To put it like Arnold Schwarzenegger if I’m ever in the area, there’s no doubt about it “I’ll be back!” (You’ve been warned)
There are to many great nights to mention
Best pub in the area! Very good selection of guest ales, and enough of everything else on the lager spirit side of things. Great live bands pass through regularly, awesome atmosphere when its full inside but still great for a quiet pint all the same. Staff are friendly and very accommodating with showing sports on the telly and providing nice old-school touches like half-time food.
