We were mainly looked... read more Six of us met for lunch midweek. We had 3 couses and a variety of dishes. The food was excellent, fresh tasty imaginative well presented. We were mainly looked after by Eve who was professional cheerful smilily but also joined in with some jovial banter. The last time we were here was eight years ago and is was still just as good. Would highly recommend. Pity we don't live in this area or we would visit more often. Thank you

Won't be rushing back.

After starter spoke to staff about clientele language. To be fair staff spoke to clientele. From then on we had “ oops not allowed to swear “ oops don’t swear “ for the remainder of meal. Totally spoiled the evening, they should have been asked to leave if they couldn’t be polite (after having been told). Spoke to the men myself on leaving and they couldn’t see how they were in the wrong, they actually asked me “ don’t you swear then?” I don’t!!!! Paid for a nice meal which was spoiled .
