I expected the food to be good since it was located... read more After a long day at work, I decided to stop at this restaurant for a quick meal because I was really hungry. I expected the food to be good since it was located in Oxton. I ordered half chips, half rice, and curry. The chips and curry were decent, but the rice was stale. I didn't even know rice could go stale! It tasted unpleasant, like a sweaty sock, so I ended up throwing it away.

I asked each person to rate their meal. 1. Fish, chips and peas: 3/5. Not very warm. Peas were bright green. 2. Special Cantonese with bouled rice. 1/5. Very little meat. Tastes burnt. 3. Sweet and sour beancurd with fried rice. 4/5. Perfectly good. 4. Special with cashews and yellow bean sauce with noodles. 1/5. Pungent sauce ruined the meal. 5. Sweet and sour chicken with noodles. 2.5/5. Too cold. Not enough meat. 6. A special, off-menu request of vegetables, cashew nuts and yellow bean sauce with noodles. 2/5. Disappointing. Too much strong-tasting sauce. Hardly any cashews. Not very warm. Sorry, but I doubt we'll be back for a while.
