I placed an order from Jam Down on May 2, 2021, through Just Eat, but it was canceled. I figured it might have been due to the late hour, so I tried again on May 3, 2021. Unfortunately, my order was canceled once more without any explanation. I attempted to call the restaurant, but no one answered. It appears they lack concern for customer communication and service. It's a shame this doesn't appear to be around anymore. This was a gorgeous takeaway, not greasy and unhealthy like getting a chippy or a pizza. The Jerk Chicken Rice and Peas were phenomenal!
Food is nice some times, but no consistently nice. Cheap cheerful. You can take your own alcohol witch is a bonus I have been here lots of time.
I haven't eaten at this restaurant in a while, but we recently ordered takeout and were impressed with the generous portion sizes. I highly recommend the goat curry and the jerk chicken was also delicious.
Had a seriously yummy takeaway from these guys on Saturday. We had the lamb patties to start followed by goat curry and rice with festival bread and dumpling on the side to mop the gravy up. Definitely recommend, meat super tender and lean. A must if you are looking to try something a bit different.
Lovely fresh food very tasty! it's nice to have a healthy take away! definitely be returning again
