A New Year 's meal out with the family. As always with a 'spoons ' you get good food at quality prices. Fried Buttermilk burgers, pasta, curry and kids nuggets chips, all served quickly and most importantly hot! Lots of seats around on the floor area and both areas on the upper sections. Rwally worth a call in if around the Wallasey/Liscard area View all feedback.

What marienH8573GX dislikes about Clairville:
I have never been to a place where the floor is so sticky, especially in the bar area. It was a really unpleasant experience. I haven't been back to this venue in a while and I have no intention of returning anytime soon. View all feedback.

This is a wetherspoons; it is not useful to complain that there is no music, because this is one of the things they are famous for! a beautiful large pub where people can speak without screaming can enjoy some excellent quality drinks for very reasonable prices (especially real ales) and cheap but edible meals. I found the personal efficient, happy to keep the tables clean and help to find dinge in the pub. the customers were all very friendly and welcoming, especially as we now count as strangers, we left the area in 1975.

Beautiful big shame to believe that it was a nice one before! Some might find it a bit too dark, but I think it's pretty good. Those who know wetherspoons will know to expect a good one. the usual food (curs night, etc.) not music, but cheap drinks.

It's like mcdonalds, you know what you're gonna get. the service is not the best and they may need to ask to clean their table, but I think that is on management hood, the coworkers all seem multitasking non stop. the prizes are great on eating and drinking. where else they can get a big wein and a pint for under a five. as in their advertising reasonable prices.

Decent spoons, but could do with a bit of renovation, as the carpets are as sticky as a toffee apple, and it's starting to look a bit dingy and worn. A bit dated and tired when you compare it to the spoons in Heswall. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

This is a nice big pub, been in a few times. Typical Wetherspoon, some of the staff are great but others are not polite and would rather talk to the other staff members than serve you. But the worst thing by far is the screaming kids running around unsupervised, I don’t mind children in bars but when they’re running around screaming and staff or parents do nothing that’s not good, not only annoying but dangerous, I watched someone with hands full with drinks turn around and trip over kids running past, no harm done but could of been lot worse!!!
