This restaurant presents a dichotomy of experiences. While some patrons rave about the delightful breakfast, friendly staff, and fresh, local produce, others express disappointment with disorganized service and lackluster menu options. Afternoon tea has faced criticism for its chaotic delivery and inadequate sandwich variety, while some breakfast offerings have been deemed inadequate for the price. Though the ambiance, notably during festive seasons, and some of the café's offerings are appreciated, inconsistent service and value leave many questioning a return visit. Overall, this venue remains a hit-or-miss, resonating with varying levels of satisfaction among its diverse clientele.
The coffee shop was charming, but we felt that the selection was somewhat limited when we arrived in the late afternoon. The staff was pleasant and friendly.
What a fantastic coffe shop/restaurant for a garden centre! It is surprisingly big with plenty of tables and fabulous food, the vegan chocolate muffin was so good we questioned it wasn't actually Vegan! Great coffee and good range of food from light bites to substantial meals. It is all table service so find a table first and remember the number!
Always busy, but always manage to set seated and served quickly. The food here outstanding for the price, always fresh and generous portions. Staff and friendly and polite.
I had heard great things about Sunday dinner here. Sadly very disappointed, Served with congealed gravy, black carrot and cold. Dirty cutlery and my son had two hairs on his pancake. I have worked in hospitality and would nerve Dean of serving a plate looking like this.
We had breakfast , awful food . A large breakfast I have smaller large breakfast . A large breakfast should fill you up no way this does not cheap so won't be going back not value for money
