Unfortu... read more My wife and I, both vegan, traveled from Norway to Washington and took my mother-in-law on a road trip to Winthrop. We stayed from Tuesday to Wednesday. Unfortunately, there were not many restaurants open in Winthrop on weekdays at night, especially those with vegan options. This place had at least one vegan option, a black bean burger (though it would be helpful if they specified on the menu that it is vegan). The burger was okay, a bit bland but edible. I ordered tater tots as a side, which were good. My wife had chips with guacamole, which tasted store-bought and not very fresh. The restaurant was also quite warm, as it was a hot summer day.

Our waiter had a very bad attitude and it was obvious he did not want to be there. I asked for drink suggestions because I like sweet drinks and generally allow the bartender to make something for me. He refused to speak to the bartender and said he had to have a drink name to put in his machine. At one point he said I 'm not a bartender . The bartenders, however, were awesome! Other than that, the food was ok. Nothing special but ok. Food: 3 Service: 1
