Three Fingered Jack's
Description
Three Finger Jack's offers a mixed dining experience in Winthrop, where the ambiance reflects its western heritage. While some guests rave about flavorful dishes like the chicken Caesar salad wrap and the Swiss and mushroom burger, others criticize the inconsistent food quality and slow service, citing staff being overwhelmed during busy times. This is a lively and relaxed restaurant with delicious food and attentive service from the friendly waitstaff.
There was only one vegetarian option available, but it was delicious and the staff were very accommodating and friendly! Plus, they even allowed us to bring our skis inside, which was a nice touch.
My wife and I, both vegan, traveled from Norway to Washington and took my mother-in-law on a road trip to Winthrop. We stayed from Tuesday to Wednesday. Unfortunately, there were not many restaurants open in Winthrop on weekdays at night, especially those with vegan options. This place had at least one vegan option, a black bean burger (though it would be helpful if they specified on the menu that it is vegan). The burger was okay, a bit bland but edible. I ordered tater tots as a side, which were good. My wife had chips with guacamole, which tasted store-bought and not very fresh. The restaurant was also quite warm, as it was a hot summer day.
I was there New Year's Eve to ring in 2025. It was one of the best nights out I've ever had. Top 5 for sure and I'm old! The woman running the show just exuded so much love. She sincerely wanted everyone to just be happy and that sentiment is rare. I don't know her name but she taught me something that night; the local Winthrop people are good and kind, especially at the Three Finger. There is hope at The Three! [Plus, thanks to my girl who insisted we go! Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
