Although Winlock isn’t very large, this bar has a lot to offer—great food and excellent service. They provide pull tabs along with a selection of draft beers and canned options. The only downside is that the bar can get quite busy as there’s only one person handling everything: bartending, cooking, and selling pull tabs. Because of this, service can be a bit slow, especially if you're waiting for food while the bartender is busy. However, Joyce, the bartender, is fantastic, and there's another great bartender who does their best to keep things running smoothly. I visited on a Friday, and they had a live band performing country music as well as various other genres—definitely a pleasant surprise. There’s plenty of parking available, and it feels relatively safe to walk around the area or leave your car. I’ll certainly come back and grab a seat at the bar the next time I’m in the area!
