Earth Eatery - Windsor
Earth Eatery
Description
A recently opened healthy restaurant in downtown Windsor has garnered mixed reviews from customers. While some have complained of menu items not being available, random substitutions without notice, and basic food that is not put together well, others have praised the focus on locally sourced produce and the avoidance of preservatives. The menu, which is easily adjustable based on seasonal ingredients, offers a variety of options including quinoa bowls, honey-lime chicken sandwiches, and shrimp tacos. While some have found the prices to be a bit high, others feel that the generous portions and quality ingredients justify the cost. Overall, the restaurant seems to have potential for improvement in terms of consistency but is worth a try for those seeking fresh and nutritious meals in a casual setting.

A lovely surprise discovery in downtown Windsor. Had lunch honey-lemon sandwich that was excellent. Their focus is to locally purchase produce and avoid use of preservatives. Would return again.
When I first heard about a healthy restaurant opening near where I live I got so happy because there are mostIy just fast food places around here. I ended up getting a chicken quinoa bowl which came around to $16, which I think is a lot of money for a bowl but the portion was pretty good. Overall, the food was pretty good it all complimented each other well. I would definitely come back again, but get something cheaper.
I went to lunch with a family member based solely on word of mouth from a few clients. We arrived at the east side of Windsor location around 1:30 pm and the door was propped open. It was a warm day in early June so either there was no air conditioning at all, it was broken, or they were trying to save a few bucks but because of that the environment was quite uncomfortable for indoor dining. Still we decided to stay and ordered salmon rice bowls. To their credit we were told before finalizing our order that it was farmed and not wild salmon as they were out on that day. I found the dish to be average at best however my mother quite enjoyed hers. The fresh juice was very good but they were out of ice cubes and could not provide cool or cold drinking water. I do like the use of local produce and that whole farm to table experience . The price was not outrageous but not especially attractive from what I felt was a very average meal in both presentation and taste. I really wanted it to be better, much better in fact, and am not certain I will return fro another visit at this point. Certainly not in mid summer if the air conditioning situation is the same! There are much better choices for healthy dining in the immediate area.
Amazing Barbacoa sandwich and chicken noodle soup You gotta try the fresh juices here, we got 1 to go also
Can I start by saying 'wow' ? The food was different & was like a dropkick to my tastebuds. I had the shrimp tacos & green juice on Thursday which were out of this world, & I returned for the Salmon wildrice bowl. My aunt who is a vegan tagged along & ordered the kale lentil soup& she loved it too. Priced just right with great customer service to boot. We will be returning for sure!
