Just a short stroll from Windsor Palace and nestled along the serene Thames, this restaurant features a menu filled with classic staple dishes you'd anticipate. Honestly, with a location like this, even a bowl of cereal would seem appropriate. I've tasted some of the best fish and chips and meat pies here that I've found in the country. While English cuisine may not be internationally renowned for its flavor or innovation, it embraces you like a cozy blanket, and this delightful setting is as picturesque and charming as you would expect.

But the food is just mediocre and not impressive esp. for the price. Ordered the Mushroom Tagliatelle £12.50) very bland and boring ... I actually had to add salt n pepper. My colleague enjoyed her Chicken Avocado Salad though. We also shared the Peach Melba dessert £6.95) canned peaches, meringue and vanilla ice cream ... very disappointing. I'd probably recommend this spot more for drinks than for the food. No lunch specials, and they have breakfast/brunch until 12pm on weekends.
