Outdoor setting plenty of space and live music guitar/singer. A lovely special evening. A little expensive but worth it.

They had heaters and fire pits going. The menu is a smaller selection but the food was delicious. Will definitely be back. Great for a special night out.

It could have used more s... read more My husband and I recently went for Waterfront Dining on Cobbetts, and had the most wonderful overall experience. The food was average. It could have used more seasoning, and the medium steak was well done, but everything was fresh, so we appreciated that. The views and grounds were incredible, but what I wanted to focus on was the Service. It more than made up for the food! We have traveled all over and eat out quite a bit (too often), and this place has the best staff we have had the pleasure of dining with. We were greeted by Diane, and Patti was our server. Both were attentive, friendly, and helpful. Diane, the hostess, greeted us with the biggest smile and was so welcoming. She walked us to our seats and even offered to move our table so we could have the best view. We closed the place down, and we decided last minute to get a gift card for friends we knew would love the experience. She restarted the POS system to do this for us, even though it was late, she could have asked us to come back another day. Patti was so helpful with food and drink selections. She checked on us often but was not intrusive. Even the younger staff moving tables at the end of the night smiled a lot and made conversation with us. There was an acoustic guitarist playing in the background at just the perfect volume. It enhanced the experience. Some places we've been the music has been obnoxiously loud. Clearly their focus is on top-notch service and they seem to enjoy working together. We were so impressed and look forward to going back.

However, what truly made the day extraordinary was the incredible, attentive staff. A heartfelt thank you to Tina, Armani, and Connor, who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. My daughter was overjoyed, and all of my guests had a fantastic time. I also want to extend my gratitude to the amazing sales team, Alex and Stephanie, who helped me organize this special occasion. I highly recommend this wonderful establishment!

We were se... read more Castleton was on its seventh night of outside dining when the four of us decided to try it. Reservations were made and we brought our face coverings. We were seated at a table on the driveway that runs in front of the lake. The setting was stunning. The menu is limited but has some good choices. We shared apps of shrimp, goat cheese crostini and chicken fingers. My husband and I had steak tips, cooked to perfection, tasty and not the least bit fatty! Our friends had seafood dishes which were also well liked. After dinner we went over to a fire table they have located closer to the lake and had cocktails there. All in all, they did a tremendous job with a delightful and attentive wait staff. We were so spread out that I never worried about being exposed. All staff wore masks.

Our Easter celebration was ruined as we couldn't get into another restaurant. It's evident that they haven't deactivated their Opentable reservations even though they were closed. This was a highly disappointing experience.
