We are a family of three and spent the summer at Hillthwaite, where we had dinner several times. Our stay, the meals, and the service were all excellent. Since then, we've purchased a holiday home in Windermere, but we will continue to visit the restaurant for dinner because the food and service are simply exceptional. The reception and restaurant staff remembered our first visit and were very warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend it for a stay, dinner, or both!
