What truly enhanced our experience was the beautiful river fish ladder right next door, offering a picturesque view with geese and blue herons perched by the waterfall staircase. If you're craving a frozen treat and looking for a relaxing outing, I recommend Scoopalooza in Winchester! I doubt anyone would leave disappointed. View all feedback.
What Andra L doesn't like about Scoopalooza:
One major issue is their use of styrofoam cups for the ice cream—completely unacceptable in 2021. I can’t imagine that switching to paper cups would be much more expensive. It comes across as pretty careless. Additionally, they use plastic spoons when many other ice cream shops have transitioned to compostable or biodegradable options.
Honestly, I should give this place just one star, but I’m giving it two because... View all feedback.
Always good ice cream, service, very clean and friendly people.
This place carries Richardson’s ice cream! My go to place to grab a quick icy treat during the summer (or just to cure my sweet tooth anytime of the year...
Great service and great ice cream, going again for sure
Very tastyVery good serviceVery clean friendlyShould have five stars
While the flavor selection was somewhat limited compared to other ice cream shops I've visited, I enjoyed the Mint Patty frozen yogurt (two scoops) in a waffle cone with sprinkles, while my friend chose black raspberry ice cream in a cup. It’s a bit on the pricey side; our two treats totaled over $11. What really made our visit special was the beautiful scenery next door, where the river fish ladder is located. The picturesque setting featured geese and blue herons perched above the waterfall staircase. If you’re in the mood for a frozen treat and a relaxing experience, be sure to visit Scoopalooza in Winchester! I don’t think anyone would be disappointed.
