What Jonathan Lloyd likes about 1220:
The menu at the Red Lion is great, but there were occasions when items were not available and a second look at the menu was necessary. The food, from appetizers to entrees, is prepared and served well, always hot. Unfortunately, the young staff fell short as they need improved customer service training, which affected the overall experience. View all feedback. What افروزه رحماندوست doesn't like about 1220:
Small hotel bar which didn't really live up to its name in terms of the decoration. Small selection of beer and cider but comfy chairs. Signage for toilets is quite confusing. Some interesting objects on the walls. View all feedback.

read moreThe Red Lion has become a mixed bag of experiences for diners recently, with several patrons expressing disappointment over food quality, service, and ambience. While some enjoyed well-prepared meals like the Sunday roast and freshly made sandwiches, others reported undercooked items, cold chips, and a lack of condiments. Customer service varied greatly; some felt warmly welcomed, whereas others encountered unfriendly staff and a lack of attentiveness. Once a favorite destination for family gatherings and casual lunches, the Red Lion now struggles to meet its previous standards, making it a less reliable choice for a memorable dining experience in Salisbury.
