We had a long day on the road and needed to just relax and enjoy a good Mexican dinner. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted and seated in a comfortable quiet booth. Our server Arlene, immediately came over and took our drink order. She 's mastered the perfect balance of warm friendly while always observing a professional decorum at all times. Our beverages came out promptly. We ordered the chicken enchilada plate and the chimichanga plate, which also came out promptly. Everything about the food was an 11 on a scale of 1-10. The service was equally excellent. All staff were very attentive that we enjoyed our meal. If you like a little more action , they also have a fully stocked bar at the other end of the restaurant. If you don 't stop in for either a quick bite or a full blown meal, you 've just possibly missed out on having the Best Mexican food that you 'll ever experience!
Just a fun, friendly place for a sizable margarita and good mexican food. Ambiance is what you would want after a trackday and a margarita.
Food: bland and pricey. I never had to add salt to my Mexican food ever but in this case I did. I mean these plates were $30 each. For what? It wasn't worth it. Service: friendly. Attentive cause it wasn't busy. Vibes: meh run down. Definitely old and out of style.
1 year ago I visited Casa Ramos and had a pleasant experience, as stated in my first review. Sadly my second visit (1 year later) was pretty ordinary. The fishbowl margaritas are still good but the food fell well was short of the mark. I ordered the fajita salad; I envisaged a Mexican version of a Cobb salad but what I was served, tasted like teriyaki beef jerky over iceberg lettuce with a blue/gray hard boiled egg, it was very poor. If I go again Ill stick with the combo plate.
New staff young bartender with the glasses with hella pimp and was offering us the best appetizers and drinks for the day. Definitely didn't disappoint.
