This is my place. I'm a plane and used to fish the Sacramento River from Shasta up and went to Black Bear Diner before they ever became a chain. Food and service are always great and the portions are very large. Last night I had the best meat I ever had. The only complaint was that the green beans were really too salty. View all feedback.
I was really disappointed with the quality of the sliders for my son. We've had them before, and they are usually his favorite.
The food is usually good, but my child was really disappointed with her pancake and the absence of the toppings that should have been included!
The pancakes were a little under cooked for me, but everything else was good
They forgot to include the coffee I ordered with my meal, and they also didn't provide syrup for both my wife and me.
The experience was enjoyable overall, and the service was satisfactory, though a bit slow during our visit. The food was decent, but I wouldn't describe it as exceptional. I had heard rave reviews that it would leave me amazed, but I left just as I arrived, still wearing my socks. Perhaps I caught them on an off day. I’m willing to give it another shot soon.
