The inside is shared with an Erberts and Gerberts. It's nice if some people want sandwiches and the other wants tacos. The place could use a remodel, but it's clean!

I tried the fried chicken... read more This was my first experience ordering from Taco John's. The drive-thru area is a bit cramped, but the customer service was friendly. I tried the fried chicken taco, and the chicken was crispy—I would definitely order that again. However, the stuffed grilled taco didn't impress me as much; I wasn't a fan of the soggy tortilla chips that were wrapped inside (even though I ate it right away). The texture was unusual, and I expected more crunch, although the beef filling was tasty. The Potato Olés were great—crispy and enjoyable! The Mexican donut bites were a real highlight; they were soft and delicious. On the other hand, the fish taco didn't quite meet my expectations. The breading was soft instead of crispy, which made the taco fall apart and affected the overall flavor. Overall, it was a fun experience trying Taco John's, and I would definitely stop by again to explore more items on the menu next time.
