What User doesn't like about Old Bake House Tavern:
After two previous visits to the Old Bakehouse Tavern when I had less than satisfactory, tough steaks, I was dubious about returning. However, this time I had the squid and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. However, we were a group of four and everyone complained about how cold the room was which detracted significantly from our experience. If my friends did not like dining here I would not return... We're been going here for a few years. The food is always spot on and great value for money. Staff always lovely and eager to please. Only a small restaurant but doesn't stop them from putting out wonderful food. Will be definitely going back. View all feedback.

read moreA lovely little Tavern this one is located on Payneham RoadI've been here a few times to take advantage of a savvy night out on a weeknight.
A quick meal after a busy day!! Such a quiet night at the tavern tonight - only 3 tables of diners at6,30 when I was there.
Everyone has a local, and this was mine for the start of my drinking life.
