After two previous visits to the Old Bakehouse Tavern when I had less than satisfactory, tough steaks, I was dubious about returning. However, this time I had the squid and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meal. After two previous visits to the Old Bakehouse Tavern when I had less than satisfactory, tough steaks, I was dubious about returning. If my friends did not like dining here I would not return - but it now seems to be an annual occurrence for us.
A lovely little Tavern this one is located on Payneham RoadI've been here a few times to take advantage of a savvy night out on a weeknight.
A quick meal after a busy day!! Such a quiet night at the tavern tonight - only 3 tables of diners at6,30 when I was there.
Everyone has a local, and this was mine for the start of my drinking life.
