We both had Chef Eric's morel bisque, again see a review from last year below), which continues to be awesome. Also had the heirloom tomato capresé salad it too was fantastic! And believe it or not, the cup of coffee I had was memorable very smooth silky, I prefer dark roast). The view overlooking the course East Grand Traverse Bay was fantastic. Though expensive $69 for 2 without any alcohol), for a special treat, it's worth it, which is why I changed my prior rating from last year from 4 to 5 stars.7/2019 Went for lunch on a Saturday with a large group. Was promptly seated generally had good service. Great view. Everyone loved their entreés, especially Chef Eric's signature morel bisque. Water glasses were always filled. The only glitch was that our server was the only one bringing out our meals, so 5 trips ...

My only complaint is that the menu didn't say that béarnaise sauce was on the halibut and I do not care for Béarnaise sauce. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because they automatically add 20% tip which I have no problem giving (I was a server) but I expect good service and that we didn't get. Our server took our order brought us our drink and never came back, never even filled our waters.

The service at Lochenheath Golf Club was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. The entire menu looked so tempting that I struggled to decide what to order. To my delight, the chef personally came out and offered to prepare a seven-course meal, selecting various dishes from the menu paired perfectly with wines, allowing me to taste a wide variety. It was truly an unforgettable evening, and I’ll let the photos I share speak for themselves.
