We had eaten there years ago and loved it. Good news is that it is as good as ever. The halibut special put unlikely flavors together wonderfully, and the fish was cooked just right. The duck breast was juicy and cooked to the right doneness, and the rabbit fricassee was excellent. Service was attentive but not smothering. It is loud but that is unavoidable when everyone is having such a good time!
Have always had great experiences but service was slow last night. Also, I got the tenderloin which I normally love but it was cold when I got it last night. Would still recommend you go and give it a try because I'm just chalking it up to an off night.
The ½ chicken wasn’t as good as Costco,s. The foie gras portion was half the size of their competitor: Le Yaca. The soup was wonderful but the salad needed more goat cheese. It was 25% overpriced
The service and food at this restaurant were excellent. Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the waiter was fantastic.
Excellent restaurant with just a couple of dings—one of which wasn’t their fault. Terrific food and ambiance. Our waiter Keith was attentive but not annoyingly so. Unfortunately we were seated next to a table of what seemed to be some tipsy ladies, one of whom had a laugh that could peel the paint off the walls. Sigh. Also, a second appetizer of fresh mozzarella with Virginia ham and tomatoes was poorly conceived. We had been imagining soft, pillowy mozzarella with some slivers of Virginia ham and sweet, juicy seasonal tomatoes. What we got was tightly rolled “roll ups” of hard mozzarella w overly salty ham and mealy diced tomato. It was a sad dish in an otherwise lovely meal. Ginger ribs, corn soup special, pork chop, and lobster fettuccine were all delicious! Strawberry shortcake was very good. We’ll be back
