The food was as delicious as alw... read more We were initially seated at a rather noisy table, but our attentive waitress quickly relocated us to a much more pleasant spot. The food was as delicious as always. While the restaurant tends to be quite loud, I’ve generally experienced good service and enjoyed my meals here.

We were greeted by a pleasant host upon arrival, who then handed us off to who we later found out was the manager to be seated. She went to seat us at a table and we asked if we could sit in a booth as there were at least 3-4 vacant in the room we were to be seated in. She mumbled that we couldn't because they were reserved for others who requested them. She was not pleasant about it and had an overall unpleasant demeanor. Throughout the entire meal at least 1 if not 2 booths remained free. I also checked open table and they do not specify booth vs standard table in the reservation options. I noticed the manager didn't stop by a single table to ask how their meal was the entire time we were there. Onto the food, for burgers ordered the server specifically asked “pink or no pink” for the wellness of the burger. The people who ordered burgers both said no pink in response to her question. Both of the burgers were at best medium when they arrived at the table. On the plus, the server was very pleasant and the kids meals were enjoyed.

My family was looking for a unique place for dinner after a long day at Water Country USA. We found Craft 31 and decided to try it. The restaurant was about a 1... read more My family was looking for a unique place for dinner after a long day at Water Country USA. We found Craft 31 and decided to try it. The restaurant was about a 10 minute drive from the water park and is easy to find. There is a good-sized parking lot with spaces around the entire property. When we entered the restaurant, we were seated immediately with an option to sit inside or outside. To the right was a nice size bar area and to the left is where the main dining area is located. The server came over quickly and dropped a card on the table with his name making it easy to remember his name (Noah). We tried three margarita flights with salt and a flight of beer which come with four drinks each. Both were very good, but I would recommend the sugar rimmed glasses for the margaritas as they are flavored and not your typical traditional margarita. For food, we ordered the pretzel bites as an appetizer which came with about 12 mini pretzel bites and a cup of beer cheese. My wife and I each had a salad with added chicken. The kids ordered the cheeseburger kids meal and a pizza. The salads were very fresh and the chicken was tender. The cheeseburger kids meal came with two mini slider cheeseburgers and the pizza had six slices and was a good size. All the food was prepared quickly and the server was attentive to our needs. Towards the end of our dinner the lights started to flicker and then went out completely about five minutes after the flickering started. The servers and the managers were very apologetic at no fault of their own as it was local power outage in the area. We had a 15% off coupon to use for the bill, however since the power was out they could not traje the coupon as discount. Instead, they offered a larger discount for our meal due to the inconvenience which was a surprise because the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend Craft 31 if you visit the Williamsburg area looking for a unique dining experience. The food and drinks are great and the service is top notch.
