This restaurant just reopened after closing for about a month for renovations. The menu is new (more Chinese food) and (I think about) 10 Vietnamese dishes. The decor has been updated with a red feature wall and new tables and chairs. It's a small place and if you need high chair, you'll have to ask the staff as its kept somewhere at the back. We got our usual pork with broken rice and raw beef noodle soup. Still tas... View all feedback.
What Keven Ankunding doesn't like about Joy's Garden Cafe:
Visited due to good ratings but was a bit disappointed. Not that the food was bad, it was average and contained limited amounts. Big bowls and lots of soup, but minimal ingredients. Noodles were decent in portion but lacked flavour. For the prices and surrounding competition, I'm not in a rush to return. View all feedback.
Very busy small Vietnamese/Chinese food. Food was fresh and very tasty. Staff are busy but attentive. Definitely recommend.
Waited an hour and a half from our 6:30 booking to get served with 3 young kids who were starving when we arrived with the place not full. The food was ok but expensive compared to better adjacent restaurants. I don’t know why I didn’t walk out! Never again.
No frills eatery malaysian cuisine with lots of on site free car parking..food ok but lacks quality and flavour
Excellent service, our waitress was lovely and her menu recommendations were outstanding! Thank you for the yummy lunch, made our day!
I called in for a takeaway. Staff were very efficient and polite. 15 minute wait for the takeaway. Several people eating in cafe which is a good sign. Lots of free parking right outside. Clean, small cafe with extensive menu. Food tasted fresh and not gluggy and sauced up like many Asian dishes. Only problem is my meal contained far too much celery and that's all I could taste. $15 for a celery meal!
